KINROOT MARKETING RETAINERS - Social Media Management, E-Mail Marketing, Blogs & Website Management

Stop putting marketing last. Start showing up like you mean it.

Whether you're running a business or leading an organization, consistent marketing is one of the first things to slip when life gets full. We take it off your plate entirely so you can focus on the work you actually signed up to do.

You know your business or organization needs a stronger online presence. You have the ideas. You have the intention. But between serving your clients, managing your team, and keeping everything else running, marketing is always the thing that gets pushed to next week.

And in the meantime, your audience goes quiet, your feed goes stale, and the momentum you worked hard to build starts to slip.

“I've been able to hand over time-consuming marketing items that I know are important, but I just didn't have the time or passion for.”

WHO WE WORK WITH

Chances are, We've worked with someone like you.

We work remotely with small businesses and organizations around Chelan, Manson, Wenatchee, and the rest of North Central Washington and beyond. Over the years, three groups have made up the bulk of our retainer clients.

Real Estate Agents & Brokers

Digital marketing is the best way to reach potential buyers and sellers in a saturated market, but it competes for time with the transactions that actually pay you. Showings, inspections, a client texting at 9pm about earnest money.

It often means that you go dark during your busiest months, and by the time things slow down, it’s too late to build the momentum you need.

We handle the posts, the captions, the reels, and the monthly newsletter, so your name stays in front of people all year-long.

"Freeing me up to actually give my clients the service and time they deserve.

Sarah jumped in quickly, understanding my business and brand. I've been able to hand over time-consuming marketing items that I know are important though I just didn't have the time or passion for.”

Christine Douglas, Broker, Wenatchee Valley Real Estate - 1 year on retainer

Non-profit Leaders & Their Teams

You're running programs, managing a board, chasing grant deadlines, and planning a fundraising event in your head. Marketing is technically part of somebody's job and realistically part of nobody's.

Meanwhile, the thing you need people to understand the most (why the work matters and who it helps) is a jumbled, inconsistent message that nobody outside of your org connects with.

We get to know your mission and goals top to bottom and craft a communication plan so that donors, volunteers, and the people you serve all hear the same compelling story.

"It feels as though she knows what Bach Fest needs before Bach Fest knows what it needs.

There is nothing too small or seemingly insignificant that is not handled with priority and care.”

Beth Jenson, Executive Director, Lake Chelan Bach Fest - 8 years on retainer

Tourism & Hospitality

You make the majority of your revenue during a few months out of the year. That means the season you need to be the most visible is the season you have the least time to be.

And then the slow months roll around and you finally have time to tackle the to-do's you’ve been putting off, but somehow marketing doesn’t seem as important then.

We build your content plan for an entire year so the hard parts are sorted before your busy stretch starts. That way when you’re in the deep end, you know the things keeping you visible online are taken care of.

"Most importantly for a small business, she is available.

She is dedicated, hard working, and her creativity and positive attitude is like a breath of fresh air when I am trying to problem solve or get something done quickly.”

C Giampapa, Owner, Echo Valley Resort + Cabins - 4 years on retainer

Not on this list? That's fine. Plenty of the businesses I work with don't fit any of these three. These are just the ones I’ve worked with the most over the years.

Here’s what a month on retainer looks like.

Every month follows the same rhythm, so you always know what's coming and when.

Early in the month. You send me anything you'd like featured in next month’s calendar. If you've got nothing for me, that's fine. I'll pull from our annual plan and your content library.

Mid-month. First drafts land in your inbox.

By the 23rd. You send your feedback. I make the changes and send it back for another look.

By the 28th. Everything's approved and scheduled for the month ahead.

Once a month. We hop on a call for up to an hour to check in.

Once a quarter. I send an analytics report and adjust when it makes sense.

Nothing goes out without your approval. You see everything before it publishes, and if something isn't right, you say so and I fix it.

What I need from you. Two moments of attention a month. One to send me anything you want featured, and one to review the drafts. That's it.

HANG ON A SEC…

Doing it yourself

Nobody knows your business like you do, and if you enjoy this part, you'll probably do it better than anyone you could hire.

The problem here is less about the lack of skill, and more about the lack of time. Marketing is the thing that gets bumped when your schedule gets full. It’s easy to be consistent when you’re just starting out and things are slow, but as you get busier, marketing will inevitably take a back seat.

Hiring a VA or a cheaper freelancer

If you already know what you want to say and just need someone to make graphics and hit publish, you can find good help for a lot less than I charge.

The difference is who's doing the heavy lifting. At the lower end of pricing, you're mostly paying for execution, which means you're still the strategist. You decide what to post, what the priority is, and how it ties to your goals. If you have a solid plan and just need hands, save your money. If what you actually want is to stop thinking about it all together, hands aren't enough.

Using AI tools

They're good, and they're getting better. If you're stuck on a caption or just need a first draft to work with, they'll get you moving faster than staring at a blank screen.

What they can't do is be an actual human. They haven't met your customers, sat in your shop on a Saturday, or watched which of your posts actually brought someone through the door. They'll give you something that sounds fine but reads like everyone else, because everyone else is using the same tools.

Waiting until things slow down

This is actually the most common thing we hear. Things do slow down, and you will have more time in February than you do in July.

The trouble is that the slow season is when you most need the audience you were supposed to build during the busy one. Marketing pays off on a delay, so the work you skip now shows up as crickets three or four months from now.
