What I Value Most (and How It Shapes My Work)

When I started Kinroot Creative, I didn’t want it to feel like I was maintaining a split personality (keeping up with Work Sarah AND Home Sarah sounds exhausting.) Because of that, my brand and my business practices reflect the same things I hold close in my everyday life.

If you’re looking for marketing services in Chelan or North Central Washington, here’s what you can expect when you work with me:

Connection

My favorite moments in life are the ones where I feel deeply connected, whether it’s with family, friends, or even just chatting with a stranger at the playground. After all, marketing is connection. It’s how you let people know who you are and why you matter. For me, every logo, website, or piece of content I create is about building a bridge between my clients and the people they want to reach.

Simplicity

I crave calm in my personal life. Clear spaces, less clutter, more time to breathe. I bring that same lens into my work. Good design doesn’t need to be complicated, and neither does your marketing. I focus on creating clarity and simplicity so your audience can see and understand you right away.

Integrity

At home, I teach my kids that your word matters. You show up, you keep your promises, and you treat people with respect. In business, I hold myself to the same standard. No gimmicks, no hidden agenda. Just honest conversations and thoughtful work that I’m proud to stand behind.

Balance

I’m not about living to work, which is ultimately why I left the 9 to 5 lifestyle. I value time with my family, being outdoors, and actually enjoying the life I’m building. That balance is what helps me show up fully for my clients too. A well-rounded life that isn’t centered around work makes me a better business owner.

At the end of the day, Kinroot isn’t just about logos and marketing plans. It’s about building a business that feels rooted in who I am, and creating branding and marketing strategies that help my clients do the same.
